Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, located in the heart of Western Sydney, is home to thelargest collection of Australian native wildlife in the world - with over 2000 native animalsacross 260 species in the parks’ care.


For close to 50 years, families and animal lovers fromaround the world have chosen Featherdale Sydney as their favourite place to enjoy andpersonally interact with koalas, wallabies, kangaroos, dingoes and more.


Create a unique and immersive experience here, where you can hand-feed kangaroos or purchase koala photos to meet and take photos with our friendly koalas up close.
There are also various animal activities that you can participate in at different times in the park. Such a rich experience can be found in Sydney city!

▍Transportation Itinerary

Opening Hours
  • Open daily from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
  • On Christmas Day (25 December), the park will be open from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM every day (the latest entry time is 1:00 PM)
Koala Encounters (Koala photo) Session: (We accept groups of up to six people on the photo.)
  • Daily 08:30 AM-12:00 PM & 01:00 PM-04:00 PM

▍Notices

  • Child prices apply to children aged 3-15, and infants under 3 years old are free.
  • Holding koalas is prohibited in the park.
  • Purchase additional photos with koalas: up to 6 people can take a photo with each photo. Please note that there are time limits for taking photos with koalas.
